THE CHURCH OF UFOLOGY

Date of Inception
February 2008

Tenets:

We do not believe that "faith" is found in a building made by man.
We do not "pray" to those who arrive in ships from space.
We believe in a higher power, whatever that may be according to an individual's beliefs.
We believe we were placed on Planet Earth, instead of evolved on Earth.
We heed the words given by extraterrestrials to mankind and then consider whether to accept them.
Together we can change the world through love and positive thinking.

TODAY'S LESSON - Compliments of Brother Brent Raynes :) (from his book Visitor's From Hidden Realms)

I asked Nancy about her first UFO experience, which I had read about in her second book. Legends of the Star Ancestors. "I was barely 18 or 19," she said. "I actually first saw them in New York City and was told to go out in the country, in the middle of an isolated area. I got up the very next morning and got a train out of Grand Central and went out to upstate Connecticut, to a place called Roxbury, near where I had gone to art school, and went out in the field, and there were three of them. One of the "craft," with its lights extinguished, flew a mere hundred feet or so over Nancy's head. She felt a vibration in the air (though there wasn't any audible sound). She also received a telepathic message that she had "work to do." But, she wondered, what "work?" Who could she talk to about such a thing? Over twenty years later, when she began to work on the Roswell production she suddenly realized this was her "work" - her true "mission."

The luminous beings at the foot of Nancy's bed seemingly knew what was going to happen. I think it's interesting to note that back in ancient times the so-called "chakra" of eastern mysticism was symbolically portrayed as a lotus flower. It is said to have represented the unfolding and blossoming of higher consciousness. Is the underlying message to the "UFO Phenomenon" that mankind is being gradually awakened to a journey of the soul and that, ultimately, he/she must strive to return to the source of their spiritual state of being?

Nancy wrote that with her awakening, her memories, there may have been a "genetic" factor. She feels that the earth has been visited for thousands of years by extraterrestrials and that they're somehow "involved in our evolution." She adds, "In a way, Star Ancestors means that we're related." Marc Davenport also agrees with the thousands of years of visitation, and himself adds, "They have made jumps in evolution by genetic engineering with humans. (I'm) not sure what the purpose for that is but I think the purpose for the current hybridization program has to do with the fact that we have developed technology that has outstripped our spirituality, and right now we're a danger to blow the whole planet up... I think the main thing they're doing is trying to take those greedy aggressive genes out and replacing them with some that involve telepathy, understanding, and pacifism."

"The idea from the indigenous people is there are only two paths to take now," Nancy pointed out. "The path of the one heart, or the path of the two heart. The one heart follows the spiritual path and the planting of the seeds, taking care of the earth. The two hearted follows the path of destruction and war."

CHURCH CORRECTION FROM BROTHER BRENT:

All of your tenets sound good to me: Faith not in a building made by man, do not pray to ETs, belief in a higher power, and together we can change the world through love and positive thinking. Amen!

However, for me anyway, we could have evolved here (or somewhere) and had some help in the genetics department. To me creationism and evolution can exist side by side.

As for heeding the words given by ETs to mankind, while I certainly strive to be open to considering such alleged communications, the source must be investigated and cautiously questioned, as with so-called "channeling." Though all reported UFO-related communications are possible realities or genuine revelations, many may also be archetypal expressions of the human unconscious or truths of the higher self in symbolic form. All indicators, at this point, have to be inferred. Spirit (as with UFOs) can't be proven concretely and must be taken on philosophical grounds of some measure of faith or belief. Everything must be inferred. One big indicator is the impact the "beings" have had on the life of the experiencer. Has it been positive or negative, is the experiencer balanced and well, and has the substance of the "messages" given been in any way helpful or insightful. Many times communications have been confusing or uncertain as to their precise meanings. Too often deliberate deception seems involved, as described years ago by John Keel and Jacques Valle.

Having said that, I do strive to be positive and optimistic. Something is out there. It's mysterious, powerful, and it changes human lives in dramatic ways. There is the potential for healing and holistic benefits that can improve our lives. But we cannot pray to them, worship them, or heed every word or utterance attributed to them. We must learn to discern objective truth and reality. Perhaps that is the great lesson that is behind the "wonders and signs" appearing in our heavens today. We must develop the spirit of discernment. We must evolve to a higher level of being!

At any rate, that's my two cents. Take care and many blessings!

Brent

TODAY'S CLOSING SONG: Page 49 (you can remain seated)

LEAD, KINDLY LIGHT

Lead kindly Light, amid th' encircling gloom.
Lead thou me on.
The night is dark, and I am far from home.
Lead Thou me on.
Keep Thou my feet;
I do not ask to see
The distant scene - one step enough for me!

Makes you wonder why they wrote such songs in the old days.

Don't forget to tune in next Thursday for our weekly lesson from the ones who experienced a one on one.
